PARTY IN THE FR

IN THE MELODY OF "PARTY IN THE USA" BY MILEY CYRUS
Collaborated by Sabrina and Ingrid
History has changed in the autumn of

1792,

Welcome to the land of berets (berays) woo

and the changing times,

the election of

national convention,

first election in 1791

this is all so crazy,

abolishing the monarch

everybody’s scared and feelin kinda nervous

many newbies equals fresh meat,

the republic of france was founded,

and the Jacobins were strong,

and the Girondins were strong,

and both sides were strong,

So they’re gonna trial him,

He’s so gonna die

everything’s gonna be okay,

Holding our pikes like yeah,

Eating croissants like yeah,

So we put our hands up,

the king’s gonna die,

France now has a future,

Yeah, it’s a party in paris

Yeah, it’s a party in france,

Get to the guillotine for a show

everybody’s cheering,

like, “kill him now, we wanna see”

we want his head out of town,

so hard with the crowds all around me

it’s definitely a very bloody murder

cause all I see is blood around

I guess they just chopped his head off

A Jacobins leader called Maximum Robespierre,

His threats turned into campaign

It’s a scary era called the reign of terror

Innocent people are killed

And the people sadly died

And the people sadly died

So they’re gonna trial him,

He’s so gonna die

everything’s gonna be okay,

Holding our pikes like yeah,

Eating croissants like yeah,

So I got my hands up,

Maximum’s gonna die,

And other Jacobins

Yeaahh, he’s out of the picture

Yeahhh, Maximum’s going down.

Sigh of relief faded out,

Back to peacefulness tonight,

But something came up again

The thermidor convention struck agaiiiinn

So I put my hands up

In self defense

And the inflation boosted up

Prices went up

Like a skyrocket

I got my hands up,

And join the peasants

Protests start to rise

Nooooo, the government quashed us down

Nooooo, we got to live with it

So I put my hands up

And fought for morals

But convention took it all

Printed more more money

And away with price controls

I got my hands up

And shaking my head

They know we are poor ones

Nooooo, we losing our precious lives

Noooooo, the party is now over.
